The movement started as a 4 city tour and, living up to its hype & success from last year, is expanding into a 10-Stop City Tour! Hitting the streets of Philly, Jersey, Delaware, Baltimore, D.C. New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Ohio & Pittsburgh!!!

A true Gem in the fashion industry!... Last week, I had a wonderful opportunity interviewing the lovely Latasha Hall from Lillie Designs!! We met in an uber cute local boutique in the city called The A List Look, while we sipped Mimosa's and indulged in a full-on recap of the designers journey! I first fell in love with her work a few month's back, when I discovered I had featured her designs during a previous interview {here}. The brand has been featured in countless fashion shows such as Philly Fashion Week and Maryland Fashion week to name a few. As well as have had her garments worn by a number of major local recording artists!!

The execution and construction of all of her pieces are immaculate! Adding to the fact that each design is beyond beautiful and a work of art in itself, the best part of it all is the affordable prices!! You could easily get your hands on a quality item from roughly anywhere between $75.00 and 200 bucks!!!

Soooo, I'm just in the nick of time with this post!!! Since Spring is officially here I just had to get these pics out before they become irrelevant! 

So "FUROCIOUS" was a major success! I can't stress enough how proud I am of myself to have had put this event together in 28days!! On January 5th, 2014 I presented some of my classic as well as newest items with a demonstration on how to wear them, what each piece was made out of, and why this journey has become so important and special to me. Of course, since Fashion Goes There we took it there.... kicking off the night with an opening scene inspired by Gotye's "Somebody That I Use To Know". Through out the night, I showcased my famous Hand Muffs but introduced a lot of new additions to the MARYANN'S DAUGHTER fabric accessories brand such as Music Note inspired Ear Muffs, Fur Wrist Cuffs, Beanie Veils and my MAD Men collection!! I was soooo excited and all my guest were highly entertained with Living Art Models, a Live Band, Free food & free wine! How could you have missed it?!? lol.... Most Importantly, I couldn't have pulled it off without all the people that Luvvvvs me, Help!

Finally, Finally, Finally, I had the time tonight to finish off sharing my volunteering experience with you guys at the 11th season of Philly Fashion Week!!! So, day three and four.......... 

Imagine an atmosphere full of ALL walks of creative people showcasing their love towards style, art, & passion freely! I was super excited that I had the opportunity to photograph behind the scenes photo's of Project Runway's Season 12 winner, and Philly's own Ready-to-Wear Designer Dom Streater during all the madness! (I loved the collection, Dom!)

 For me, it was the perfect rendition of the modern romanticist....With beautiful hues of pink, white, black and floral abstract prints and Oh, of course the impeccable craftsmanship, I was truly able to appreciate the love and hard work that went into every garment! 

All in all day two, the Couture show as a whole, was my Favvvvvv! 

I love Color! And you can expect a lot of color from the designers inside! Since Fashion Goes There, I am all about taking fashion to another level! I met a ton of wonderful designers as well as models, jewelry designers, artists etc. and can't wait until next season! Lately, I have been so busy that It's been hard for me to post my Philly Fashion Week recap in a timely manner so pardon my late posts folks!!

So! Thursday Feb 20th was Day Two!!! I actually volunteered, but was able to capture some really cool flicks of the vibes going on during Renee Philadelphia International's Launch! Besides cool people and cool vibes, lets touch on the fact that Renee International is a three-storie Hair Salon, Nail Salon, Spa, & Photography Studio also specializing in International model management!! Kerry Scott & Kevin Parker of FBH Agency (also the owners & organizers of Philly Fashion Week) are co-owners of the newly acclaimed international organization!! Knowing what they have done with Philly Fashion as a whole, I am confident that Renee International will be highly successful!! Before ultimately indulging my wholehearted efforts into being a backstage volunteer for Philly Fashion Week, I had to make sure I attended this Lux Men's Wear event!!! 

Celebrating 11 Seasons last week, Philly Fashion Week kicked off it's runway experience @ The Ritz Carlton with the 1st of its kind!! I sat in the front row and captured my favorite looks from the men designers and their detailed collections as I am becoming more and more inspired by menswear!! The event consisted of uber fab guest (both men & women) and great music by none other than Philly's own "Hollywood" DJ!!!
