I am super stoked to be project managing this epic tour production! I need everyone that reads this to come out and enjoy a night full of positive vibes & positive people!!! Our tour kickoff is hastily approaching on August 29th and I cannot wait! Countless hours and efforts have been poured into this dream of bringing positivity, social change, & conscious truths to the community in a wavy way!

The "O.P.P. Tour" is a showcase performed by local artist of the conscious mind and was created summer of 2013, by Philadelphia’s own local poet and community activist, Rodney Seth Roberson Jr. Popularly known as “Brother Bang Bang”. The movement started as a 4 city tour and, living up to its hype & success from last year, is expanding into a 10-Stop City Tour! Hitting the streets of Philly, Jersey, Delaware, Baltimore, D.C. New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Ohio & Pittsburgh!!!

Soooo, I'm just in the nick of time with this post!!! Since Spring is officially here I just had to get these pics out before they become irrelevant! 

So "FUROCIOUS" was a major success! I can't stress enough how proud I am of myself to have had put this event together in 28days!! On January 5th, 2014 I presented some of my classic as well as newest items with a demonstration on how to wear them, what each piece was made out of, and why this journey has become so important and special to me. Of course, since Fashion Goes There we took it there.... kicking off the night with an opening scene inspired by Gotye's "Somebody That I Use To Know". Through out the night, I showcased my famous Hand Muffs but introduced a lot of new additions to the MARYANN'S DAUGHTER fabric accessories brand such as Music Note inspired Ear Muffs, Fur Wrist Cuffs, Beanie Veils and my MAD Men collection!! I was soooo excited and all my guest were highly entertained with Living Art Models, a Live Band, Free food & free wine! How could you have missed it?!? lol.... Most Importantly, I couldn't have pulled it off without all the people that Luvvvvs me, Help!

So tonight I had the pleasure of attending a FAB networking event held at the Hyatt Bellevue; specifically at Bar Nineteen!!! The event was hosted by Philly Style Bloggers founder, Fajr Muhammad and Rent The Runway.com. Which is an everything-fashion online rental store perfect for the Fashionista with a  champagne taste on a beer budget ;-).  Giving you access to over 150 well known designers as in Nina Ricci, DVF, BCBGMaxazria, Matthew Williamson & Vera Wang  just to name a few. RTR was the main focus of the night, as they had beautiful women strutting around the room in phenomenal dresses. The energy, cocktails, and finger foods were a delightful touch in making it an ultimate experience!! You can be sure to get a quick glimpse of what is on the site tomorrow morning on the NBC10 Spot show, airing at 10:30am.

"LA Fa'Shindig" was definitely a night to remember for my self, in which I couldn't complain @ all! I just remember standing in the arch way of the doors of EA Effect Boutique, soaking in a whirl pool of emotions as I sent out each MAD Muff Model for my first fashion showcase. Not only did I individually make an eleven piece collection, I coordinated and styled the show while suffering from a major allergic reaction. I was so proud of my self  for being able to fight through the many trials and tribulations that seemed as if they could easily stand in my way. Yet, I was still able to celebrate all of the many accomplishments within this yr's basis!! Every one played a huge and vital part in LA Fa'Shindig especially EA Effect Boutique and I would  like to thank all that contributed their support!!.......To view some of the fab pictures of the night click the link above....
