Opening her second store location, MiCo's Fashion Book thrift store just a few weeks ago directly across the street, the boutique owner decided to celebrate her successes with a re-grand opening of the infamous pink boutique's first store located at 5816 Old York Road! Guests sipped, shopped, and enjoyed a series of indoor/outdoor fashion presentations as well as an evening of good music with the talented DJ Ran on the one's and two's!!! INDIE-DESIGNER TAKEOVER x TWO!!!!............VIEW MORE

Saturday night while in Old City, I attended the US*US boutique for the Indie Designer 1st Friday mixer!! The event was thrown to support local independent, made in america, fashion designers and was sponsored by HughE Dillon of Philly Chit Chat, Sarragamo, Tito's Handmade Vodka, & DJ Chaisley Lussier!! Some of the featured designers included LELE, Aso Dimisi, Secret Bohemia, Lobo Mau, Katie Yamaguchi, Mariel Rojo, & Lila Ila! 

The event was a hit!! Last fall I went to my first Indie Designer takeover event (pics below) held at the Kembrel Pop-up Shop on Chestnut St.. And it was fun, but this one was wayy more of my type of party! I loved the indoor/outdoor setting along with the free style-spirt atmosphere. And as always, I had a wonderful time meeting some pretty cool peeps! Check them out when you read on.
 
After snapping a few pics, I wanted to double back around the corner to Cultured Couture for their Art-Music first Friday event! By the time I got there the festivities were over :(. I did get a chance though to take a quick flick of my good friend and his uber cute dog Polo!!

TEAMPLAYERS: LITTER FREE PHILLY!!!!!!..........VIEW MORE

Saturday I had the opportunity to be apart of a great experience involving the litter free Philly movement!!  The community spring clean up was sponsored by TeamPlayers from 10am to 2pm and I was very honored that Fashion Goes There was considered to take the photo's of many volunteers and the great things that were being done in the area! The kids from the neighborhood had a blast and watching them was sooo inspiring!! A few weeks back, I got invited to a small jewelry showcase that was being held at a new hotel in Old City.  The display took place on the rooftop lounge at Hotel Monaco inside one of their uniquely decorated event rooms. The view was AMAZING!!!!.....
Ashley Devawn hosted the intimate event, while giving away complimentary gifts to all of her guest! Her online boutique is based out of New York City but is truly nation wide, selling accessories from all over including Florida, Chicago, California, the DMV and even Canada!!! Some of the Designers that can be found on www.ShopDevawn.com are Vintage Royalty, Street Luxe, CanDID Art, and Mdurvwa!

YOUNG, HIP & CHIC PRESENTS: URBAN FLRT'S TRUNK SHOW!!!!!! ...........VIEW MORE

So, early Saturday evening I got the chance to view an exclusive T-shirt line based out of Harlem, New York!! The event was held at Showroom 77, which is one of Philly's first showrooms, located right off of South Street! The owner/blogger of Young, Hip & Chic, Tweety Elitou, decided to partner with Urban FLRT to give Philly a little taste of the creativity that comes straight out of Harlem!
I arrived pretty late, but of course I still had the pleasure to meet Mr. Corey Wesley who is the owner and designer of  the Urban FLRT brand. His shirts were ultra soft and are designed with the art embedded in the shirts themselves. Giving you the opportunity to make any style your favorite and wear it over and over and over again!! The trunk show was an amazing  introduction to his Spring/Summer 2013 collection and the chic tee's gave me Art & Fashion at it's best!!  I was uber happy that I got  my very own UF tee! AND........it was free, lol!

Yesterday was suppose to be a networking fulfilled night for me (with no work involved) and yet somehow I still managed to snap a few flicks of the action at the LaToiaMichelle Pop Up shop event; with my phone lol. The shin-dig was held at the newly opened Bellargo Piarge Boutique in the Piazza @Schmidts, consisting of light treats and complimentary drinks!! I got a chance to see some of the latest and hottest threads to come out of the LaTioaMichelle camp first hand including trendy tops, pants, and head wear!!!
