Last year, I was invited to be apart of a new movement manifesting itself in Philadelphia history. To join the city's finest artists on the music, art, & fashion scene in capturing a timeless memorabilia of strength, unity, & change during this new era of evolving culture in Philadelphia! The photo took place on the epic steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum evoking a black & white image that could be described as the epitome of art in our current artistic community! Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity :( whomp whomp ... I know, and as you could imagine I was devastated. However, at the time I was developing my first solo demonstration event for MaryAnn's Daughter so I couldn't spend too much time sobbing. But I'll tell you what, I won't be missing this one! I am super stoked to be project managing this epic tour production! I need everyone that reads this to come out and enjoy a night full of positive vibes & positive people!!! Our tour kickoff is hastily approaching on August 29th and I cannot wait! Countless hours and efforts have been poured into this dream of bringing positivity, social change, & conscious truths to the community in a wavy way!

The "O.P.P. Tour" is a showcase performed by local artist of the conscious mind and was created summer of 2013, by Philadelphia’s own local poet and community activist, Rodney Seth Roberson Jr. Popularly known as “Brother Bang Bang”. The movement started as a 4 city tour and, living up to its hype & success from last year, is expanding into a 10-Stop City Tour! Hitting the streets of Philly, Jersey, Delaware, Baltimore, D.C. New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Ohio & Pittsburgh!!!

Opening her second store location, MiCo's Fashion Book thrift store just a few weeks ago directly across the street, the boutique owner decided to celebrate her successes with a re-grand opening of the infamous pink boutique's first store located at 5816 Old York Road! Guests sipped, shopped, and enjoyed a series of indoor/outdoor fashion presentations as well as an evening of good music with the talented DJ Ran on the one's and two's!!! A true Gem in the fashion industry!... Last week, I had a wonderful opportunity interviewing the lovely Latasha Hall from Lillie Designs!! We met in an uber cute local boutique in the city called The A List Look, while we sipped Mimosa's and indulged in a full-on recap of the designers journey! I first fell in love with her work a few month's back, when I discovered I had featured her designs during a previous interview {here}. The brand has been featured in countless fashion shows such as Philly Fashion Week and Maryland Fashion week to name a few. As well as have had her garments worn by a number of major local recording artists!!

The execution and construction of all of her pieces are immaculate! Adding to the fact that each design is beyond beautiful and a work of art in itself, the best part of it all is the affordable prices!! You could easily get your hands on a quality item from roughly anywhere between $75.00 and 200 bucks!!!
