Life is many things but never meaningless and no matter what is thrown at you, you have to hold on to your faiths. Saturday June 16th, marked a anniversary date in my life that just ain't so sweet I'd have to say. But hey, I'm the type of person that always believed that everything happens for a reason. So I really never questioned why my mother died at age 13. I figure, maybe life is teaching me some things that she may never could...Thinking back on what kind of life I imagine I would've had if she were still here. Normally, I don't discuss this sort of thing with people that aren't my closest family & friends, but this year marks ten and that's something talk about! And what better way than through styling and shooting at her grave site! |

| Timeless She is!.. The late Donyale Luna was the true definition of a "Cover Girl". Luna, actress and model, was born in Detroit Michigan on August 31st, 1945 & died at the age of 34 on May 17th, 1979. During the mid 60's, she moved from Detroit to New york in order to pursue her modeling career and there she met Photographer David McCabe. Make note, that Donyale WAS and IS the first official black fashion Supermodel, gracing plenty of runways, magazine covers, and movies before the term even existed. Lol.....sorry Beverly, Naomi, & Iman but my heart has a new found fashion love and she's of great inspiration to me!!! ......... click link for more photo's |

| So as I flipped page by page through the March issue of Harper's Bazaar mag., I stumbled across a 4 page spread of new designs from the classic Michael Cromer Munich (MCM) Spring/Summer 2012 collection; from ready to wear, to jewelry, to luggage, to watches & most of all my Fav - hand bags!!.... Right at that moment, I thought about the first time I had owned anything MCM and how much I loved my classic fanny pack, but since it was vintage it would never really be "MY OWN" if you know what I mean. Only to find, that in 2005 the line was bought by one of the richest women in asia, Sung-Joo Kim! Changing every thing that I had ever thought, about owning my very own MCM hand bag!! The new and improved MCM (Mode Creation Munich) made their official Comeback when they released the Fall/Winter 2010 collection about two years ago. ............
